Normanton Knights run a successful youth section with teams running from the under 8s age group all the way through to the under 18s. We also run a girls team at the club.

We recognise our juniors are the future of our club and all our coaches are fully qualified to teach your children the wonderful game of rugby league. All junior coaches are also fully vetted as your childs safety is as important to us as it is to you as parents.

Normanton kinghts have produced many great players who have gone on to play professional rugby league. In the past players such as John Langley and the late Dave Topliss came through the junior ranks at Normanton to go on and grace the hallowed turf of wembley. more recent players plying their trade in the pro game include Richard Blakeway, Anthony Tonks and Scott Hutton at Featherstone Rovers; Jordan thompson at Castleford Tigers; Ben Cockayne at Hull KR; Ben Westwood at Warrington Wolves and John Langley's son, Jamie, at Bradford Bulls. Many of our juniors are also on scholarship programs with various professional clubs. Obviously not all players go on to make the grade at professional level and for those who don't we currently have two open age teams playing from queen Elizabeth Drive; the first team play in National Conference Division 1 and the second team play in the CMS Yorkshire league Division 1.
